Denny Huang, born as Huang Bo Jun to Taiwanese parents in Texas, USA, is a Taiwanese actor and now active in China. Graduated from University of Houston, he had stage play and drama education since high school which inspired his enthusiasm in acting.

In 2006, Huang went to Taiwan. In addition to finding his biological father, he also wanted to fulfil his dream of becoming an actor. However, auditioning always ended in failure due to his complete lack of Chinese. After spending time in learning Mandarin and becoming familiar with Taiwan and China, he began looking for acting opportunities while working as a model. In 2007, Huang officially entered showbiz with his debut in the youth drama “Bull Fighting”. In 2020, Huang announced the change in his stage name to Huang Li.

While developing in China, Huang also operated a personal sideline restaurant in Hangzhou, serving Hangzhou-Western fusion cuisine. In 2017, he was reported to have suffered heavy losses due to the failure of catering investment.

In January 2021, Huang held his wedding with Addlyn Kim, a South Korean 13 years his junior with whom he met and fell in love at first sight in New York in 2019. That year, they registered their marriage in the United States in November and held their wedding in South Korea in December. Their wedding in Taiwan was originally planned for January 2020 but got postponed due to epidemic.
